CUPA-HR Connect

When you’re looking for answers or have a great idea to share, CUPA-HR Connect puts you in touch with our incredible community of higher ed HR pros — in real time.

General Discussion (CUPA-HR members only) — Ask questions, share resources and connect with higher ed HR pros from across the country.

Learning & Development (CUPA-HR members only) — This community is a platform to connect higher ed L&D peers across the nation.

Small HR Teams (CUPA-HR members only) — Connect  with other CUPA-HR members working on small HR teams (usually 10 colleagues or less).

Strengths-Based Approaches & Practitioners (CUPA-HR members only) — Learn how others are using the CliftonStrengths assessment tool to support engagement and development at their institutions.

Data User Group — Tap the experience of our many survey participants and DataOnDemand users on everything from uploading data to presenting results.

CUPA-HR Chapter Communities — Join your chapter community to connect with colleagues in your state or local area. Please note: Not all chapters have community groups. To learn more about your chapter, visit Find a Chapter Near You.

To join a group in the Connect community, log in to Connect, select All Communities from the Communities menu at the top of the page, locate the group you want to join, and click the Join button.

Next, be sure to update your profile and privacy settings. In your Connect profile, you can add information about yourself and your experience, as well as a photo. In your Connect privacy settings, you can choose which profile details should be visible to other members of the community. Public refers to members and nonmembers who are logged in to the community. Members Only refers to CUPA-HR members.

Note: Your Contact Details are pulled directly from CUPA-HR’s database, so the only changes you should make there are changes you want made to your CUPA-HR account.

The final step is an important one — setting your community notification preferences!  Go to the Community Notifications page and choose Real Time, Daily Digest, or No Email (you prefer to read group messages in your browser) for each group you belong to.
